Webcams Nazaré, Praia do Norte
Of course, we also want to show you images of the monster waves at Nazaré, a coastal town about an hour and a half drive northwest of Lisbon. Nazaré is known for having the highest waves on Earth. This is thanks to a unique geological location, with an underwater canyon that is perfectly positioned to make existing waves up to 4 times higher. Surfing has been done at Nazaré on waves almost 30 meters high.
