Lisbon travel guide – these are the best

We understand that just a few websites are not enough when you’re planning your trip to Lisbon. If your plan is to go to Lisbon for a few days, you could use a good travel guide. Fortunately, there are plenty to find via Amazon. And even though we already know the city reasonably well, a decent and relatively new travel guide always comes in handy in Lisbon.

Which travel guide should you get?

The Lisbon city guide that suits you best is of course a matter of taste. We are big fans of the Lonely Planet series, so we usually have a copy of their Lonely Planet Pocket for Lisbon stashed away in our bags.

We also like DK Travel’s Top-10 Lisbon. It has all the bite sized information you need for a short break.

More top of the range is the Time Out Lisbon City Guide. This guidebook for Lisbon looks and feels a bit more solid than the other two. We like this one a lot!

All of these and more travel guides can be found on Amazon.co.uk

Lonely Planet’s guides are great, but Bradt’s are even better 🙂 Too bad they don’t have any for Lisbon or Portugal
