There is always a queue at Nannarella. Which is no wonder, because the ice cream there is simply delicious.
This ice cream shop has been around since 2013 and is located in the São Bento district. It doesn’t matter what time you come here, there are always locals in line waiting their turn to order some delicious ice cream.
Italian roots
Even though the ice cream is made with Portuguese products, it has Italian roots. The owners are two Italians from Rome. One of the owners is also co-founder of Gelato Davvero.
Natural ingredients
All the flavours of ice cream they make are 100% natural, without colourings or flavourings. The ice cream is super creamy and if you think they use special milk for this, nothing could be further from the truth.
For their ice cream they use the dairy brand Vigor, the milk carton that you will find on almost every breakfast table of a Portuguese family.
Nannarella has one branch in the São Bento district, which is a 10-minute walk from Bairro Alto.
