Situated near Cabo da Roca, Moinho Dom Quixote is a restaurant / cafe with a fantastic view over the Atlantic Ocean and the cliffs. The restaurant is built around an old moinho (mill) and has several terraces outside where you can enjoy the views.
View of Guincho beach
It is one of the most beautiful places in the area where you can have your drink or meal. From the terrace you have views of beach Guincho and Cascais, there are several terraces of which some even have small ponds with fish in them.
The most beautiful terrace with the best viewing spots can be found in the self-service section, near the orange benches. From here you can look over the Atlantic Ocean with Guincho beach on the horizon.
Nice fireplace
Inside, the interior is also very atmospheric, it consists of several parts. Especially the part near the bar is very cozy.
With a burning fireplace if the weather is a bit cold (or when the owners think it’s cold, which is anything below 20 degrees). The service is friendly, but they usually speak little to no English.
