Foxtrot is a ten-minute walk from Lisbon’s bustling nightlife hub, Bairro Alto, tucked away in the Príncipe Real neighborhood. If you ask us, this is the better area to go out—especially if you want to mingle with locals.

When you arrive at the address, it takes a bit of searching. The door is closed, and it looks like the bar might not even be open. We’ve had this happen before at Pavilhão Chinês: standing in front of a closed door for five minutes, checking Google to make sure they’re actually open that day. And then finally spotting the little bell that, once rung, granted us access.
At Foxtrot, it’s the same story. And let’s be honest—it still feels a bit awkward to ring a bell without being 100% sure you’re in the right place. But it’s one of those intriguing trademarks of Lisbon’s cocktail bars, and Foxtrot is no exception. Walking inside feels like stepping back in time. The decor blends retro touches with contemporary design, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. Dark wooden furniture, velvet upholstery, and dim lighting give the space a warm, intimate vibe that wraps around you the moment you enter.
The bar is spread out across several cozy areas, adding to the intimate feel. There’s a small courtyard, a room where you can play snooker, and plenty of little corners where you can sit back and savor your cocktail.

At Foxtrot, cocktails are like an artistic journey for your taste buds. The award-winning bartenders are master mixologists who work with carefully selected ingredients to craft unique and surprising drinks. From timeless classics to creative new inventions, every sip is unforgettable.
We couldn’t decide what to order—not because nothing looked good, but because everything did. Luckily, the bartender had a solution: we simply told him which ingredients we liked, and he created a custom cocktail just for us. And honestly? It was absolutely delicious.
